This week we have “Blue Iris”, a special collaboration between LA-Based Kingsway Alumnus john jehmeyer (Tommy Richman, Johan Lenox, mynameisntjack) & composer Yutu Middi, a classically trained composer & instrumentalist whose middle eastern background is also imbued in his musical senses, adding things like nylon guitars or vocals to the darker textures and sounds of john’s.
Their work has a classic feel with a modern sound. Packed with pristinely executed melodies and unique approaches, you get the best of both of these up and coming music phenoms.
