Since the release of his debut album Adrenalin in 1979 whose track “Feel The Real” quickly shot to #1 on the UK Dance Charts - surprising even him - David Bendeth has had an illustrious and robust career in the music industry in many areas. From artist, to music executive, to producing and mixing some of the biggest albums and bands of the last quarter-century he is constantly striving to find or create the next big release or sound. Alongside his work with bands like Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, Breaking Benjamin, and I Prevail, David’s own recordings from his early years as an artist have since been sampled by many modern hip hop and R&B figures, such as Kaytranada, Craig David, The Alchemist, Bennie The Butcher, Westside Gunn and Goldlink, all while remaining an in-demand mixing engineer, label executive, and plug-in creator. His talents are many and his ears are sharp, and after becoming exposed to the Kingsway Music Library he took on yet another challenge and role: sample composer.
After hunkering down in Toronto’s Arthaus Studios with producers CVRE and Brandon Leger, the result is a truly unique and special offering - the Kingsway Music Library Peanut Pack. 17 original recordings written and produced by one of the music industries most experienced and eclectic figures.
