Our first volume of the year comes from Paris-based producer Twenty9, who along with working with some of the most exciting French artists like Angèle, SCH, Lacrim and Maes, has also been exploring generative music and AI-learning through a partnership with Sony Computer Science Laboratories.
This volume was crafted with a Prophet-6 as the lead instrument, with assistance from the Mellotron and a variety of other processed instruments, vocals and textures to round out the compositions. Twenty9 is an adept producer and skilled mixer – effortlessly blending each layer and maintaining the character of each instrument and melody. The wide range of tempos and vibes makes it a great tool to inspiring a project, and we’re excited to share it with you.
